Future Ent seem to post their DVDs from within the UK, but there are no guarantees .

I would also be interested to know where to get it from without french writing on the packaging. (I don't usually mind french, but as the LOTR packaging is so nice it would be a shame to spoil it). :)

Do New Line actually put French translations on their sleeves?
MGM don't, Columbia Tristar don't, Fox don't (not yet anyway) in fact the only studio I've bought recent Canadian releases from that did have French on there was Universal.

    Anyone know for sure?

The LOTR 2-disc (Canadian) was bi-lingual.

I seem to remember someone saying it is now required in Canada thatall new releases be multi-lingul. Cant confirm it though.

It's officially "the Law" over there now, but I don't think anyone is actually enforcing it.

Now I think about it I'm pretty sure I remember reading somewhere that New Line use a different company to distribute their Canadian discs, I'd imagine they're based in Canada which explains that one.

I'm pretty sure it's Aliance Atlantis (or the other way around). They are distributing Criterion disks in Canada as well.

Thanx Sg, but I am not sure that your list is definitive? You have not listed New Line as being bilingual, but as I understand it The Fellowship of the Ring does have a french cover.

You will probably be able to buy it from a German site without French writing on the case.

    Hi Wurzel,

I see Somerset are going to be relegated from the Norwich Union League Division One. Shame that! :p

    Hi Lex,

I don't follow football I'm afraid. We are more into sheep shearing in these parts.

I have listed New Line, but I typed it as "Newlline" so that's probably why you missed it. Have corrected it on that thread now. :D
