Hi all

I've misplaced the speaker spikes off my V4 Mercury speakers - and I can see lots for sale on various sites, I don't know what size they need to be (M6, M8..?)

Anyone know?

Thanks

Si

Yup....they are....just don't know what size these are :(

EDIT - so if I use a micrometer and just do the hole size....that'll give me the M....?

Go to the local hardware store buy one M6 machine screw and one M8 machine screw, see which one fits. This won't cost more than a Pound or two. Actually, it will probably cost about 50p for both.

You could contact Tannoy, or you could look in the owner's manual to see if it give the screw thread size.

I had reason recently to contact Tannoy support recently regarding some speakers from the 1990s and got an excellent and helpfull response. Must be worth a try.
