Hey guys, i was going to take someones advice from these forums. They had 2 seperate music collections on their computer, lossless for listening to it on their computer and then in MP3/AAC/ATRAC3 format for his DAP. Well, now that i want to do it, i need to find some freeware that will do this for me. What do you guys use to convert your collection to a lossless format? I want to find the best one available.

If you already have your music in lossy format, converting to lossless will be a pointless exercise.

Any new stuff you copy from CD, copy it in lossless using EAC/CDex, and then convert to MP3 etc when you need to copy it to a DAP.

I use DBPowerAmp Music Converter to quickly convert files/folders from lossless to lossy for DAP use.
