I was wondering if there would be any loss in picture quality if using a good quality (OFC gold plated) scart to scart cable between say 5m and 10m?

And if not at what sort of length would you start to notice a significant loss?

    Cheers

Get the specs on the cable to see what the losses are over distance. 10m shouldn't be a problem, just avoid any power cables or if you can't, make it cross perpendicular to them.

Even for a half decent cable and a decent video output 10m shouldn't really be an issue to worry about.
