lord extended dts es or dd ex???

    which is it, on amazon it sais dts es but on the news thing on homecinemachoice it said only ex????

    They should be identical in every department apart from the packaging...... I think ;)

    Not to mention the fact that the R1 version has the National Geographic disc as well.

    Are we sure about the dts? Knowing what Entertainment in Video are like, I wouldn't be surprised if it was left off the R2 version, but still appeared on the R1.

    I know EIV are bad but they did include a DTS track on the Blade 2 DVD so I would think they wouldn't be stupid enough to leave it off the FOTR Extended edition - but saying that hmm it is EIV :rolleyes:

    sounds a lot like the R1 is the choice...... why would you go for R2???

    If you don't have a Projector and Large screen, or only have a widescreen TV with no progressive scan, or a dvd player thats doesn't output it either. Or you don't like NTSC scan lines.

    the only good reason that i would agree with is lack of a multi region player.... but then again i have funny opinions at times!
