These are just some of the quality titles that should be getting a decent DVD release over the next 4-5 months.

Oh the halcyon days of proper film making.

Xusia Of Delos I am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang. Is one of my favourite old films along with the Leslie Howard version of The Scarlet Pimpernel.

Did you ever see the film of the true story of I am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang, which even coverd them making the original film in it.

No, I never saw that. I'm hoping they'll be some historical background to the imporance of this movie on the DVD itself.

I may have been a bit wrong in saying the true story, as it was already based on truth but I they took the story a little further along rather than the classic line
    I steal.
:smashin: and even showed the original film being screened in a cinema.

I thought it might be about some of the gems coming onto the big screen this year. I can't wait for war of the worlds, hgttg, and kingdom of heaven.

Yes, it does. Or is at least a step in the right direction.

If you feeling experimental, try one of the titles above. They cover a good many decades of vintage Hollywood.

I'll definitely be picking up Bad Day at Black Rock, The Sea Hawk & Captain Blood (although I may just get the Errol Flynn box set instead of the last two separately).
