Question looking to upgrade to a 4k Projector from 1080p

Looking to upgrade my PJ from a Benq 1070 which is just under 12ft away and projecting to a 120" screen.
Its running through a denon X4400 and mostly used for xbox gaming with a few films and sports events for good measure.
Budget is upto about £1200 so not massive in 4k territory.
Main reason for upgrading is my current 1080p PJ means all sources have to be set to output 1080p (xbox, sky q,fire tv) and there is a handshake issue (2.2hdcp or whatever it is)and id like to use 4k if possible.

The projector is in the main living room and shares sources with a 4k Samsung TV and needs to be pretty bright.

I've looked at a few Benq models (TK800 etc) as I've been very happy with my current model. But the throw seems to be an issue as at my current distance it won't fill the 120" screen..

Any advice on projectors around this price range would be great.

Thank you in advance
