Looking to upgrade system - 6k to spend

Guys,

I am looking for a bit of advice on upgrading my current AV system.

Currently I have:

TV - Sharp LC45GD1E
AV Receiver - Pioneer VSX-AX4AVI
Speakers - Quad lite 5.1 system

That is all I am looking to upgade at the moment. I would like to keep with satelite speakers / smallish bookshelf speakers as my wife is not a fan of floor standers - all speakers are currently wall mounted.

I am also looking for a 1080p screen of at least the same size as the one I have.

I have just over £6,000 to spend - all ideas appreciated!

Thanks

[Mod comment: what are you actually looking to upgrade? if its the receiver then I'll leave this thread as it is, if you are looking to upgrade the screen or speakers etc, let me know and I'll move the thread to the appropriate section of the forum  :end Mod Comment]

I would personally get an 8th gen Pioneer plasma, Onkyo TX-SR905 receiver and KEF KHT9000ACE speakers.

Plasma - You will have a true 1080p display, which is 100% compatible with Blu-Ray and HD-DVD. No external box!
Receiver - Accepts all the new video technologies i.e. 100hz and decodes all HD sound tracks. Flagship model.
Speakers - KEF Flagship speakers, they look amazing and sound even better. No sub needed, at most a small one!

The speakers and receiver will st you back about 3k got no idea on the plasma pricings as of yet.
