Hi all, have been wanting to get a bigger screen for a while now, at the moment
I have a tosh 42" 100hert rptv but want BIGGER.

Been looking at the tosh ET-1 which I know can be had for just under 400 quid.
I know this can be ceiling mounted, but I am after info such as distances from pj to screen ect
Just a few questions if somebody could pretty please answer them for me

1 would I have to extend to electrical lead to reach a plug?
2 would I need an extra long scart or component lead to reach av stuff
3 does pj bracket have to be on ceiling joist?
4 how much over all cost do you think it might add up to with screen an install?

would keep rptv for general viewing but would like this for movies and football
    and gaming

    Thankyou please...........

Yep (unless you've got power sockets on your ceiling.

2 would I need an extra long scart or component lead to reach av stuff

Yep. Maplins do long leads at reasonable prices.

3 does pj bracket have to be on ceiling joist?

Ideally yes. Although not that heavy, do you want to risk your investment.

4 how much over all cost do you think it might add up to with screen an install?

How long is a piece of string. You could go for a Ikea blackout blind for 20 quid that gives an amazing screen for the money. Build a quality screen for around 50 quid. Medium size manual pull down screen is around 100 quid or you can spend 1000 quid on a massive electric effort.
