    Looking to buy some speakers,my equipment is
    Tosh pw8 40
    Sony 735D
    Philips 890 DVDR
    Sky+
    Yamaha av reciver HTR5540RDS

    I am looking at these keff eggs http://www.creative-audio.co.uk/hotdeals.htm Could anyone advice me if these would be a good buy with my equipment ? Or should i be looking at something else? Is there anything else i should be adding to my equipment?

    The original Kef eggs were well thought of when they first came out although some thought that the sub was the weak link. The price of £499 makes them even better value though.

    The updated eggs with the more powerful subwoofer are £649 from the same people people but you should also look at the JM Labs Sib & Cub package which is also £649

    Have you heard the Kef Eggs? And have compared them to bookshelf and standmount speakers?

    Only get small sats if you're limited in space and budget.
