Hoping some of you guys can offer some suggestions - My wireless Technics stereo headphones recently died on me (after many years of use) and I'm looking for a replacement... (I'm currently using some wired Sennheiser PX100s in the meantime which aren't too bad sound wise, but are just too basic for my needs...)

I would like to get some Cinema sound headphones and wireless is a must for me. What do people suggest? Do cinema sound headphones really work or are they just gimmicky?

They must be decent quality and reliable...

As cheap as possible...

The sound quality must be excellent... (most important feature for me)

I want them to have noise cancelling on them if possible

Must support both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 at least

Must be Wireless and rechargeable

I will be using them for movies and gaming mainly, but would also use them for music too...

What makes/models would people recommend? Any I should avoid? How much should I be looking to spend (minimum)? Would appreciate any advice... Thanks

5.1 is a gimmick. Some do Dolby surround, but no headphone really replicates a room, space and a sub.

And none come cheap either. You essentially pay (big time) for all the tech, and get very little sound.

Depends on your perception of 'excellent' sound quality, it's not the same for everyone. But I don't believe any wireless '5.1' provides excellent SQ for music, and for gaming and movies, stereo phones will do it better for a lot less.
