Looking to buy first large screen.

Hi - I'm about to purchase my first large screen TV. Was seriously looking to buy the Sony Bravia "V-Series", possibly the new 46" or perhaps the 40" depending on budgets.

Has anyone got any good advice from personal experience with these screens, or - has anyone got any good reason why I should buy something else.

Looking to compliment with either a Denon 2910 or 3910, or alternatively a Marantze 7600 or 9600. Same thing applies there really.
