Im basically on a tight budget.I cant help but notice some cheap deals on cheap widecreens(notibly the Lodos from Sainsburys,£160 with stand).Does anyone own a Lodos or any widescreen under £200 and are any of them any good?

I really do need help here so if you can help that would be great!

Got one of the Lodos tv's a few weeks back. Couldn't get a decent picture so it went back after a week. Have read decent reviews about the tv's elsewhere so I might have been unlucky.

    Bruce1234,

It's the old saying of you get what you pay for. :lesson:

Of course even the cheapest TV will produce picture and sound, just don't expect it to be perfection.

(Actually, even the most expensive TV's aren't perfect, just better.)

As long as you appreciate the limitations, go for it.

I am after a cheap second tv also and saw the lodos last week.I think
i will give that a miss after Westender's faulty set.Asda and Lidl have cheapo
electrical stuff.Asda have Pacific among others,no details about set on website though, but on monday Lidl are having some Welltech28"sets in.I
think they had these in a couple of months ago along with 21".On website they appear to be £10 cheaper than last year(not much reduction really for 12 months)available in 2 colours for £169(no stand though)but 3 year warranty, equaliser, virtual dolby,2 scarts!Seems a fair price against say a
Matsui 28"at £189.96.Only thing is you have to be quick off the mark at Lidl.
Looks like I will have to set the alarm!(Monday 15th NoV.) :D :smashin:
