Best place to ask.

Take a look at the Richer sounds site for some good deals, theres a Sony TV with playstation built in you may want to look at, not sure what others are about. Maybe get a set from RS and buy a cheap player for 30 quid.

richer sounds looks like my best bet.im getting a rough idea now.sony or samsung so perhaps i can look at them in the shops and get either from rs.cheap dvd is the way as there are hardly none with built in to choose from.

Sony & Samsung don't have models with in built DVD as far as I know, so yes separate DVD player better (and a more reliable option)

This chap just got a very good deal on a John Lewis price match on the Sony 24EX320 - not sure which company he matched again

ive seen a sharp 24 led dvd combi for £200 on richer sounds and currys websites.
I will look at it the weekend.

Sharp LC24DV510K. will this do for a 6yr old.if you have very negative feedback on sharp tv,s let me know if not i will buy.thanks
