Question Looking for the perfect STB

Afternoon!

Could anyone tell me if this exists? Im after a HD Recorder that will be able to record to a hard drive, then also be able to transfer those files off of them for backup.
2) Able to stream the channels over IP that i can access over pc and android.
3) will consider Satellite if this doesn't exist in freeview!

Please tell me this exists!

Only if you build it yourself based on a HTPC.

Nearest I can think of is a Humax HDR FOX T2 with the custom firmware installed. No live TV streaming, only existing recordings.

ill look into that! wanted something dedicated. cant be bothered with a full htpc. just want something that does the job well. what about dreambox's (for satellite)

No experience with a dreambox. However keeping up with transponder changes and new channels isn't simple using a FTA box like it is with Freesat or Sky boxes.

Unfortunately no one will ever find one, as its each to their own. As Graham says, you'll only find one that suits you if you build it yourself.
