I'm thinking about getting The Harman Kardon DVD30 DVD player (to output to my Sony 10HT projector & Denon 3803 receiver)

The only review I've seen of this is from an Australian T3 mag. It was very complimentary, but I'd prefer to see some more reviews, preferably from a UK HC magazine or two. Even better would be some real owners!

I'm particularly keen to check that progressive scan works well for both PAL & NTSC, and exhibits no lip-sync problems.

Has anyone seen any reviews of this, or wish to comment as an owner?

I was previously contemplating the DVD25, but I thought I may as well go for DVD-A!

    Cheers,

    Richard

Not sure how much the DVD30 will set you back but if you're not that bothered about the DVD-A then play.com have the DVD25 for £250 with NTSC/PAL PS.

Very interesting. I didn't know that the DVD25 was available so cheap.

I haven't seen the DVD30 below £450. Do I really want DVD-A (and jpeg playback) enough to spend an extra £200............

I will go away and contemplate....

    Cheers,

    hi
i have a dv30 and it gives a great picture with my sharp zx81 projector, very smooth and stable image. dvd audio performace great as well. (no lip sync problems)
the only thing i am not sure about is if they are auto multi region or if you change regions manually.
