Any suggestions anyone?
Maplins USED to do one, dont know if they still do now.
It was basically a plug in adaptor about the size of a AA battery charger.
Plug the unit in then plug the 2 pin plug into the top of that.
I had one with the first dvd player I had and it was only cheap but lasted for years.
Just make sure you get one with sufficient wattage or Va rating. Your DVD player will probably run at around 30W, maybe less. It's a good idea to go at least 10W over to prevent overheating etc. You should be able to pick up a 50W Stepdown from Maplin as mentioned above. Even try Argos .
here's one up to 45w
If you are in London, plenty of shops in TCR sell them.
This one is going for £9.99 in the Maplin sale and handles upto 100watt load. It's a good one !
Reduced down from £29.99 so you'd be well advised to pick up this bargain quick !
Think i'll go for this, nice find.
