Hi,

I come from the computer world, so I know nothing of AV. Looking to improve 2 AV systems I had someone quote/install. Its in flux, so I'll talk about now and later:

Great Room now :
Toshiba 34HFX85 TV connected to amp via component cable
Denon AVR-486S receiver
JVC HRXVC18B DVD/VCR connected to amp via component cables
JBL HTI6 100W Speakers
Klipsch AW-500 outdoor Speakers via a ODVC60 60W Volume Control
DirecTV satellite via component cables

Family Room now
Toshiba 34HFX85 TV connected to amp via component cable
Denon AVR-786 receiver
JVC HRXVC18B DVD/VCR connected to amp via component cables
Klipsch 4xRSX-3 and 1 RCX-3
Klipsch AW-500 outdoor Speakers via an ODVC60 50W Volume Control
DirecTV satellite via component cables
Audio AMP100 50x2 Power Amp
Playstation 2 via component cables

I'm basically looking for a receiver. Please don't rag on my purchase choices, they're done and I have to live with them:

Great Room soon:
Samsung UN46D6003 46-Inch 1080p LED HDTV to replace TV
LG BD670 Wireless Blu-Ray as a new addition
Audio AMP100 50x2 Power Amp which I might not need if the new amp can drive outdoor speakers louder than indoor.
DirecTV HD receiver, but for now plan on SD/component
Logitech Harmony 1100 controller

Family Room soon :

SharpAQUOS Quattron60" 1080p LED/LCD 120Hz HDTV w/Internet Apps
LG BD670 Wireless Blu-Ray
DirecTV HD receiver, but for now plan on SD/component
MAYBE a Logitech Harmony 1100 controller

I need something idiot friendly (NO, NOT FOR ME!). This is used in a rental property, and because of the amount of work it takes to use the AMP by renters I generally come back to things being re-wired (And usually not working, which gets me even more!). So some requirements :

* Easy to use
* Minimal amount of interaction required to get things working
* Compatible with most 3rd party controllers (Like the Harmony)
* If internet connectable, WIFI included or REASONABLE to supplement
* Easy to use (YES, THAT IMPORTANT)
* Can easily handle additional equipment from component based to HDMI
* EXTREMELY REASONABLE price ;)
* LONGSHOT - Ability to store configuration in memory/USB stick and restore from memory/USB stick
* LONGERSHOT - Ability to save configuration over internet network, restore configuration from Internet Network

I realize there are probably 1002 items that fit this..but at least a general line of receivers to look at, or place to click all my preferences and have it suggest would be great.

Thanks!

Tuc
