Looking for fellow Actifry 2 in 1 owners!

Hi all, got my Actifry 2 in 1 last week and have a question. According to the manual when cooking with the bottom bowl and top plate, the total time to input is the time for the bottom bowl and it seems as if both areas can cook together. My experience says otherwise (with almost raw chips) so I called Tefal yesterday who told me to add the bottom and top times together and use that to program. The bottom will only be kept warm while the top cooks. So to me, the manual is wrong? Would love to hear from other users!

I know this is 2 years ago but I had the same issue with my new 2 in 1 last night, will try adding the two times together next time I use it - probably tonight! Anyone have any more advice please?

I got a Philips air fryer did look at the tefal but thought it was too plasticky and didn't like the rotating paddles as it cuts the food up
