Just picked up a Pioneer 575 DVD player, not got component on my current tv but will be getting an LCD soon (within weeks hopefully).

Want to pick a set of component cables for when this happens.

I'm also planning on taking my DVD player to a few shops to try out a few panels and the cables will probably come in handy then (if the store cannot provide a set for testing  )

Budget.....hmmm, well, can i get a half decent set for £20 odd.....

Only need be a metre length or so

    TIA

    Hi dometheone.

Check out the Posts from Mark Grant on this Forum (link below)

He'll knock you up a set of Belden Vidoeflex Snake Component leads for reasonable sums. Apparently, they are the dogs dangly bits.

I'd normally advise you to consider a set of VanDamme 'Component' cables - though they are slightly over your indicated budget.

Look to someone like TV Cables (who have a PAID FOR BANNER ADD on here - why do folk insist on linking to sites that make no contribution [financial or otherwise] to the AVForums) for a set of low cost YUV cables.

If your going to be using these cables as part of your mobile 'test' system ensure you get ones with robust connectors on otherwise you may find you loose an RCA plug at some point on your travels.

    Best regards

    Joe
