    Hi all,

first of all I'm sorry for posting this (or similar question) for the gazillionth time, but I just feel special so I had to make another thread.

So, as the title says I am looking for the best available 50"-55" tellie for approximately £400-£600.

Viewing distance will be about 2,60 meters. Good contrast & deep blacks are more important over viewing angles (so VA panel?).
Mostly watching downloaded TV series and movies in HD (so should play all kinds of files from USB stick), also binge watching SD material (so no need for the fancy stuff like UHD, HDR etc.).
No gaming or sports watching whatsoever.

According to this review, PANASONIC TX-50CS520 is the way to go. Or should I up a little my budget and get a SONY BRAVIA KDL-55W805C?

Any advice are welcome. Thanks in advance!

That TV will likely be fine for your needs, the Samsung J6300 or J6240 + the Sony you mentioned I personally think are better quality though.

Quick question: is Samsung UE55J6302 any different from J6300? Also: is K6300 as good as J6300? In my country I only find K6300 or J6302...

No idea about the K6300, its a model from this year, but there's no information on it. It looks like unlike last years J6300 it uses a 50hz panel though which usually isn't a good sign!

As for the J6302 it will be the same, just regional differences in model numbers.

In some countries the J6240 is sold as the J6250 and Sony have a bunch of different model numbers for the Same tv. All the w805c/w807c/w809c tv's are good. In higher sizes they even have w85xc model numbers but they are all the same tv with differences only laying in firmware.

Even Sony's w7xxc series tv's are decent, but lack 3D.

Now I need an advice on which cheap sounbar/soundbase/home cinema (<250eur) should I put my money on. Opinions welcome :)
Also is there any guide on what settings this particular TV shows the best picture? I found this guide, is it any good for my TV?

    Many thanks!
