I like those squarish sort (not like normal thin remotes).

    Anyone got any suggestions?

    Thanks

The Sony Commander remotes - the ones with LCD screens - tend to be nice solid square-ish ones... I've got their RM-AV2000T (bought secondhand for £30) and am v happy with it - nicely designed, and fairly nice-looking IMHO. You might want to have a look on fleabay - they often come up there.

You can get a new AV3000T, which I think is similar but a more recent model, for £130 from Amazon - see http://audiovisual.kelkoo.co.uk/b/a/sbs/100274323/413009.html. tbh, though, I'd suggest you look post in the A forums classifieds asking for a remote or look for something on e-bay - a lot cheaper even if you find a new one on there, and I'd certainly have no qualms buying one of the sony remotes secondhand as they seem well-built and there's not many moving parts to break (all this assumes, of course, that the purchase goes through OK).

Never seen the HK remote; the price ain't bad for a new LCD remote, though :)
