Looking for advice.
I have a Denon turntable DP-200USB and want to connect it to my Denon AVR-X1300W.
Struggling to get it to connect plugged into audio in on the amp but can't get get any music to be heard.
Every thing else works through the amp blue ray and TV.
I bought a pre amplifier today hoping that would fix it.

Hi,

Unless the turntable or amp are faulty, this should work just fine. First thing I would check is on the back of the turntable. Make sure the phono EQ is set to "on". The Denon DP-200USB has a built in pre amp, but your amp does not have a phono input, so this EQ setting needs to be on to work.

...and also make sure the RCA cable is connected correctly. It should work. Unless the RCA input on the amp is faulty. Then try another one. Or the turntable is faulty. But if you had the EQ set to "off", that will be your issue.
