    hi!

i'm looking for a new receiver (should be SONY) where i can connect:

    - a plasma screen (audio)
    - dvd player (SVHS/SCART + audio)
    - mixer (2 turntables; audio)
    - tape deck (audio)
    - ps2 (video + audio)
    - computer (SVHS + audio)
    - surround speakers

and maybe have one or two spare audio inputs.

which SONY receiver could you recommend? is there a way to connect 2 speaker sets to one receiver?

    many thanks for your help!

I dont believe sony do a amp with scart switching at all. Very few frms ever have or do I would also believe you will also have probelms with 2 decks unless they both run into one amplified input as most amps with phone stages built in only have one input. Otherwise most of the sony amps except the lower ranges will accomodate you. Look for anything in the QS range especially.

Wouldnt it also be better to just connect the dvd player directly to the tv? I can see your trying to minimise the ammount of cables to the tv but use the scart directly to get the best picture.
