    Me too

I currently have a Pronto at the moment but never really got on with it’s totally touch screen input, hence my decision for a new button remote.

I've got two remotes in mind, the new URC-300 or the MX-800 (I need the RF transmit feature offered by both of these units because I intend to relocate my AV kit into another room).
Any thoughts on either remote (pros and cons) would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to interrupt you Norman but......

Im looking for a Pronto (US model No:TSU-2000), the 2mb one. I dunno what the UK model no is.

Is that the one you had? Whats wrong with it?

My Pronto is a USA model, but it was one of the first available, the TSU1000 I think.
My dislike of it is the lack of hard buttons. I've never got to grips with the touch screen buttons, not enough feedback for me.
This is a personal thing and I'm sure you'll love it.
I've just taken the plunge and ordered an MX-800. I've already downloaded the PC software for it and it looks every bit as good as the Pronto but with hard buttons.

    Norman,

What does the future hold for your TS1000? Have you considered selling it?

I'm not sure yet. I may use it for the TV/DVD in the bedroom (which is also linked to my Sky+). If not, best offers (whats it worth, £30-£50?)

I got it from Universal Remotes Europe. Here's their URL
