    Hi all
Looking for decent cheapish tablet to download some movies on via showbox for my summer holiday. Last year was a breeze on the Note 4 mobile phone downloaded them before leaving & watch them chilling in sun with earbuds in but I'm now back to Apple on the iPhone 6+.
Have got playbox hd installed on my iPhone but every time I download a movie to watch later and then go to watch it a few days later it says it's not there.

    Cheers everyone

What's your budget? Any particular OS? Screen size?

The Hudl 2 is a cracking little tablet for the money. But then so is a Nexus 7 if you can find one somewhere? Or after something bigger?

Even though I have an iPad, I just bought a Lenovo Miix 3 Windows 8 Tablet/Hybrid to watch TV & films on. £200 with 32GB & SD card slot, 10.1" screen, full Windows 8 and a really nice detachable keyboard (2 usb ports on kb as well).

Lenovo MIIX 3 10.1 inch Tablet with Keyboard Dock - (Black) - (Intel Atom Z3735F 1.83 GHz, 2 GB LPDDRIII RAM, 32 Gb eMMC, Wi-Fi, BT, Camera, Integrated Graphics, Office 365, Windows 8.1): Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

Better ratio than the iPad at 16:10 with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. Media I have tested on it look excellent so far.

Don't really have a budget but thought of not spending loads due to it mainly going to be used for showbox etc.

    Android would be fine

Been looking at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S. Read good reviews about it but not 100% sure on size 10.5" or 8.4" and that it might be a little over kill.
Also the Samsung Tab 4. Does anyone have any experience of these. Really trying to stay away from Apple Ipad Air 2

The Linx7 has arrived, delivered in two days. It's spent an hour downloading updates but so far is impressive for the price.

I was pleasantly surprised by windows on a touch screen, it was better than I expected, the windows site could do with more optimised apps, the upside is if the app isn't there chances are your can use a website or normal windows programme instead

Me neither as my son has 8.1 on his PC whereas I stuck with 7.

But, my on Lenovo tablet it makes more sense. It is a completely different animal on a touch screen. I am still getting used to it, but can always click on the desktop tile, and voilà! Back to normal Windows!
