    Hello everyone!

Chritmas is coming so I am going to spend and spend.. Well not too much..

I have seen a few screens and I quite like the Pioneer PDP-435XDE, although I am not sure, have heard mixed messages. :lesson:

Question has anyone yet received one and what do they think? :lease:

    Many Thanks.

    Me

The Pio 435 got quite a panning from the reviewers, mainly because it wasn't as good as its predecessor. The top selling plasmas on here seem to be the Panasonics and Hitachis.

I have the Pio 435 XDE and am chuffed with it. The problem with the reviews are that it hasn't been the massive improvement they were expecting (hard to do when the panels are this good) and how much money Pio was pouring in their pockets.

HDMI DVD signals are noting short of astonising. Sky + is excellent and much better than I expected.

The recent price reduction will make it one of the top plasmas I'm sure.

If I have a downside with the panel, its that the blacks aren't quite as black as on the Panasonics. However the trade off are HDMI, brightness, colours and a real matural feel.
