    Hello everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I am looking for a 26" HD LCD television preferably £1000 or under.

I like the look of the Sony and Panasonic 26" models, are they good and would i be happy with them. Are there any others you suggest.

Picture quality is the upmost of importance, sound isnt really an issue.

I will be using the tv for PS2, XBOX360, PS3 and obviously watching tv.

Also if anyone can provide any sites who offer interest free credit.

    Thank you for your time

    Cobra

    Which versions - Sony S or V, Panny 52 or 500?
You could also look at Sharp or JVC - all mentioned should be had for well under £1K.
Most 32" versions of the above can be had for under or bang on £1K.
If space is limited, then fair enough, but 32" really is the starting point nowadays.

I've got the Sony V26 wall mounted on a double jointed swing arm waiting for the 360... in the meantime ZeldaWW, F-Zero & Metroid Prime on component@480p more than suffice. :D My advice READ,READ,READ then go and SEE,SEE,SEE. £1200 Ouch! it's a good job space was limited! ;)

I've looked at the Panny 500 26 inch versus the Sony Bravia 26inch, both the latest models. I thought the Panny had the best picture

mmm... I checked out the Panny500 26" and it is indeed a great picture but to me it lacked the punch of the sony. Obviously I'm now biast, but the Panny did win 'Best 26"' in What Hi... recently, so it's definately up there. Then again Robbie Williams has won 'Best' something for the last decade & I wouldn't buy his s**t if you paid me!

It's always worth waiting... but if you're a gamer, the dawn of HD is sooo close. :D
