Ok the requirements are the it can accept 1080p over HDMI from a PC.
Needs to support 1:1 pixel mapping as well.
3 years ago when I got my 37" LG LC2DB , pixel mapping wasn't avaliable over HDMI on all screens, I hope something this simple isn't a problem over 1080p. (LG screen has 1368 res as you may know)
I have been loooking at the Sony 52v5500 which is avaliable around 1.1-1.3k range.
Also avaliable for a similar price is the panasonic G10 Plasmas at 50" but I'd prefer the LCD due to burning problems etc. This may get left on for a while.
My third main issue is that I want to purchase from a top class retailer as this is an insanely expensive purchase for me. After sales CS needs to be there incase anything goes wrong. I'm thinking of john lewis as they are very good with this sort of thing but a specialist retailer online would do just as nicely.
