Hi folks,

I'm looking for a 17" 16:9 (or as near to as possible) LCD display. Must have a good vertical AND horizontal viewing angle (for a specialist application). Can anyone suggest some to try?

Monitor preferably. Trying a Philips at the moment - horizontal angle is great, vertical is poor. Thanks for the suggestion though

monitors tend to have worse veiwing angles than TV's, can i ask what it is for and must it be a 17" Try the JVC LT 17" LCD TV it has VGA as well as being a TV Pic can be dark but depends on where you view it from

Sharp produces the best lcd displays 20in and below using their pure black TFT. Best viewing angles you'll find on the market today.

samsung 17" 172W from PC world is an excellent monitor with pretty good viewing angels
