    Hi
I'm looking at buying an older receiver with hdmi for a very small room,
I have the option of a Cambridge Audio Azur 651R or an Anthem mrx 310
What would be the better option of the 2, mainly be used for music, sacd etc but with the odd movie
At the moment I'm still using my old arcam 200avr.
    Thanks
    Phil

Which HDMI equipped Source and Display devices are you planning to connect to the AVR?

TBH I still rate my old AVR200 as it was pretty good for music, it was that good I only replaced it relatively recently and I only did that because I wanted an amp with HDMI so I could run the HDMI zone output from the Marantz in the front room.

For your small room are you planning on 5.1? In a similar circumstance I might be tempted to use Stereo, maybe with a sub for 2.1.

Arcam AVR200 - as above you may find using your TV as the HDMI 'Hub' with Optical Out to the AVR200 connected to a 2.0 or 2.1 speaker system will be a good option in your room.
