    ;) hey guys,

finally got round to taking some pictures of my setup, dont hesitate to tell me what u think (but stop short of composition, lighting, focus and set-up critique please  ).
i am also a water treatment systems installer and will gladly help with any questions you have about your small, medium and large water treatment plants.. hmmm mods, am I allowed to plug this?? and I'm avaliable for any work as long as you're in South East Asia (and have world, european, private financing and/or pots of cash) :nono: :(

    system includes,

    Loewe Vitros 32 titanium crt
Recycled shophouse teak dang stylish av cabinet
    Pioneer 575 DVD etc player
Marantz 7400 (yep, agree with Kaz on this one)
    ADB Digital Cable set-top box
Philips VCR (why do I still have this?)
Sony PS2 (suitable chipped for NTSC, PAL, PS1 and indiscrete copies... hm)
center speaker - MS 304c (perched on TV)
front speakers - MS 302 (see if you can spot 'em)
    rear speakers - MS 302
subwoofer - MS 309 (just about see it in the one picture...)
standard Proac Studio 125 as stands for rear speakers
Various cables - QED, Monster, generic for AV, slightly more exotic for the hifi

Oh yep - and a quick sneak at the hifi - except that's really a Meridien CD player in there, just the X-Ray's up for sale so it has to be there for any prospective demos

Love the Hi-Fi...how do you rate the sound of the valve power amps.. is the output enough to drive the proacs to reasonable levels. I bet it sounds gorgeous.... It reminds me of my system back in the early 80s ( Linn sondek/ Isobariks etc.

Oh god yes - too much oomph - and they sound sooo sweet..... Only at about 10-o-clock, and already pretty loud, never got to 12-o-clock yet! Thinking of ditching the pre-amp, adding an active crossover instead, driving the speaker cones directly... although I may knock up a pair of Proac 2.5 clones to try this first.
