Do you think this is good enough for action movies, sports and PS3 games without blur?

Avoid LG.
What is your viewing distance?
Get a Sony instead. You could consider a non 1080p panel if your viewing distance is more than 8 feet.

About a metre, a metre and a half away.

Why avoid LG? I thought they were good?
This is my first hdtv but i've been researching a lot over the past week.

This one I can get for around £270.
Someone recommened a Sony 32V4000 but at £370, that's over £100 over my budget.

LGs i have heard have issues, same goes with Samsung too. Sony on the other hand especially 32V4000 is supposed to be the best in its category for good blacks, good processing and reliability.

I fully agree with audiphile

Thank you for your advice, now I will have to spend my food money or take a loan for the extra 100 to buy the Sony. lol:suicide:

Can I ask you another question please?

With the Sony TV, could I connect it to my laptop and use it to play Mugen? (Mugen is a mod emulator which allows you to play the 2d streetfighter games and such on your PC)

you can connect your laptop for sure
