Longish displayport cable for Kuro?

Standard Member
Hi all,

We're just about to have our Pioneer 500a wall mounted, but the media receiver is going to be in the corner of the room away from the tv (about 10m away). It's going to be plastered into the wall to the floor to hide it out the way, so I'm just wanting to make sure I'm ordering the right cable before it's too late!

So I've read that a cheapo cable for HDMI should work as well as an expensive one, but I was wondering if this still applies for the longer displayport cables? Or does the distance of 10m mean cable quality comes more into play?

I'm basically looking at probably either the official Pioneer KRP-CA01 10m cable, or the Wireworld Ultraviolet DisplayPort 9m cable - would either be suitable/better?

Thanks for any info! :)

You can purchase a good quality displayport cable (5m) from us here:
5m DisplayPort Cable

This is our longest length.

You could look elsewhere for a displayport cable coupler and join x 2 to make 10m.

Branding will not make any difference to performance.
