I am hooking my pj up to my digi box and I need a long s-video cable, I need something about 12m long and I have seen a 25m cable advertised in my local av store- will the pic quality be poor and would I be better off looking for something 12-15m ?

25m is a long way to go with any S-Video cable - VanDamme do a decent 15m cable for sub £35.00.

With the 25m cable you may well have to factor in an S-Video line driver or expect some signal drop out/off.

    Best regards

I use a 5m -> amp ->10m PJ, and it's ok, but reds seem ovrpowered and out of phase slightly. I would tink component would be better over that distance if they are well sheilded.
