long lead ??

hi guys
in a couple of weeks i will be the proud owner of a 360
would like to connect it to my pc but my pc is approx 20-30 meters away in another room.
do i need a lead that is this length to connect or do i do this via some sort of wirless set up i am a coplete bozo when it comes to things like this and really dont have the first idea
all info and advice greatly appreciated
