    can anyone tell me for certain if the new R2 release is anamorphic or not?

    Always best to check though IMO. Sometimes the film studios are tight/lazy ****ers and just chuck out any old $hit :(

    I had a look at the box in Tesco the other day - I though it said something like "16:9 fullframe" - whatever that means

    ...I would imagine all newly released DVD are anamorphic.

    How so when its not anamorphic and lacks any extras?
