which after reading the reviews doesn't seem such a bad thing but does anybody know if there are any other versions with a better transfer or is it still a case of get the DVD set?

The discs are NTSC as well, so none of that NTSC-PAL nonsense. Having owned the blu-ray set, I can advise that you stay well away from it.

That is the DVD set i have been putting off buying on the hope that a decent Blu would turn up...i guess it could be a long wait then, still i cannot believe just how bad the Blu ray reviews are what a monumental cockup by Animeigo.

£20 what a bargain think its time to take the plunge, thank you for link.

Box set turned up this morning "prime" indeed, have watched a couple of the films this evening 1 & 2 & i have to say looks pretty darn good up-scaled (last time viewed was Artsmagic videos), missing the yellow subtitles though... now its time for Baby Cart to Hades, love it.
