Also do they make a wireless headset? the amount of times i've nearly ripped my head off when putting the pad down, forgetting i have the headset on is unreal.

maybe if we get enough names together, we could petition logitech's offices, to demand the introduction of a cordless headset and controller.

now that would turn us into mega couch-potatoes, lol.

It would seem to be the next logical step - or better yet a seperate cordless headset to partner the controller. I don't know if it's viable though as you'd be limiting your market to a section of the Xbox ownership.

Their current 'Precison' wireless controller is excellent BTW. Unless Live is priority then I can recommend it unreservedly. It feels very similar to a controller S but with rubberised analogue sticks which IMO work better than the normal ones. Response is first class and it's just great having no wires.

For Live you can always go back to the standard controller/headset combo leaving it plugged in in port 1 as many games allow you to play single-player with a joystick in port 2 (minimising the need to swap joystick ports).

Yep, looks good although my early experiments with Blutooth have put me off for life!

Anyway, I can't see the Xbox2 coming with wireless controllers simply because of the need for batteries, unless they have mains charger stands. I use rechargeable batteries for all my remotes etc. and they save a fortune but to the average Joe, 4AA's at a time will get expensive.

I think MS should definately make a wireless option but not bundle it with the machine.
