I bought the Logitech z-5500 approx 3 years ago, it has hard wired speaker connection. Recently moved house and the room has been cabled for a surround sound (cables embedded in to walls). I need to connect these cables now to my z-5500 speakers. How can I do this?

I assume I need to cut my cables on my speaker and connect to cable in wall? Similar issue with then connecting in to the amp (sub-woofer)

    Has anyone had any experience?

Don't count me on this, but I am pretty sure that the cables in Logitech and Creative speakers are just wire inside. You should be able to just cut it open, link the wires together and then plug them both in at either end - this is what I plan on doing on my Creative T5100 speakers.
