I have been reading your coments on this remote and it looks like the one I'm going to get but I have a couple of questions I hope someone could help me with.

I have a denon AV system and a 32pf9986 tv, when using the AV for movies/dvd's I normally turn the volume on the tv set off by using the (-) key as mute leaves a sysmbol on the screen. But idealy the 885 remote will set the +/- Vol to the av amp for watching dvd's so how will I beable to drop the volume on the tv easily.

Can the activity buttons by the display be used for custom controls, ie to solve problem above and special functions like time on tv, av setup.
