Hello there you wonderful people. Who wouldve thought that a forum like this existed. What a blessing because who would have thought buying an LCD tv is such a huge decision.

Okay, so After much searching, the following two options are on my decision plate!

Either the Logik LCXW23NT4 , 23", decent pixel res, high contrast and a dixons 12 month return/repair warranty, only problem i have is not many reviews and also Logik doesnt appear to be a big manufacturer. (£399-Dixons)

    OR
Samsung LW20M21CX, 20" 4:3, average res and contrast, but good picture and a known quality make. But not widescreen. (£379 -Dixons)

Anyone have any advice, positive or negetive. Puleeze!

    Thanks People
    S

From my experience, names aren't everything!

If you like the Logik one, I'd say go for that one, as you seemed, from what I read, to prefer that one most (although you havent said it directly, lol!)

The good thing with dixons is the service they CAN provide! I stress the 'can' part, as I have found that, as with the rest of the dixons group, staff sometimes dont want to help too much, and take the easier route to resolving a situation, as opposed to the one which satisfies the customer the most!

My advice, buy what makes you happy, and should something go wrong, be a bit insistant, and don't be fobbed off. I think you'll find it may work!!

You know what they say, the customer is always right! :rotfl:

I also have a 27" Logik, stunning picture through SKY and DVD via component. Far superior to the 42" Fujitsu plasma hanging from my dads wall.
