Hi
Just got a Logik soundbar model L32SWLB14. Only a budget device but does the job.
As the Panasonic tv I have is circa 2008 model TH-42PX7B I have connected the soundbar to the tv with the RCA cable (red & white) - there is no digital optical connection on the tv.
The sound seems fine.
I have tried to connect the Sky HD box to the soundbar with an optical cable.
The sound for both RCA and optical cables sound similar - no real difference in quality.
Is that expected? If so I'm happy just to keep the RCA option.
