Just wondering if antone has installed a 4 or 8 way loftbox and if they are any good. I have my sky+ and plasma in the lounge and 6 other tv's around the house, fed from the rf2 on the sky box, which I have added over the years by just adding another arial cable to a main junction (really a soldered joint) I have in the loft. I have also added amplifiers at various places and so the whole thing is a bit of a mess now and was thinking of ripping the whole lot out and starting fresh with new cable etc.
Any advice on istallation and thoughts and would be much appricated.

Yes i fitted one at home, great bit of kit.

    Got mine from here http://www.satcure.co.uk/

Have a look around the site , loads of good info.

From your previous install it sounds like you will be able to tackle it with ease ;)

    Hi av2diefor

Thanks for the reply. Couple of questions if I may. Did you fit this yourself and was it quite easy to do. Thanks for the website and my other question is, did you buy their ebook that they say answers all install questions?

    Thanks in advance
    Dave

    Yeah i fitted it.

Very easy to do, if you can fit "f" connectors its a doddle.

I think the Ebook was free with my order and is good.

If you get stuck pm me and i will be happy to help.

I have just switched on my loftbox.

Picture seems poor lots of snow throught the loftbox., aerial alone is fine strong signal.

I hace used a very high grade sat coax.

I am concerned about the global diplex sockets in the rooms. Do I connect the screen. As the entire piece looks metal, I can not see any screening to stop the middle wire conducting with the coax screen.

If I disconnect the screen the signal seems a lot clearer.
