Loftbox connections

I have a 8way loftbox installed (in my loft:D) from and to it i have the following:
Aerial input from freeview digital aerial
Aerial input from DAB aerial
Satellite input ( cable installed and terminated at loftbox but coiled in loft for future satellite dish)
2 x digital cables down to main living room DDU (input to DDU and return to loftbox)
3 x digital cables to bedrooms (one per bedroom)
1 x digital cable to annexe
I have connected all cables at loftbox and power is on
I have connected 2 cables to DDU
I have connected 2 of the bedroom cables to triplex wall outlets giving me TV/radio/sat
So i have the following cables un-terminated
1 x bedroom
1 x annexe
1 x satellite
My problem is i can't pick anything up at the DDU or the connected bedrooms?
Should i be looking for a short in any of the unconnected cables?
Any ideas?
Aerial cable and runs to other rooms is either CT100 or RG6 (can't remember which, but can check when next at home).

I'd be more worried about a short in a connected cable. i.e. get the RF to the main living room working first.

What are you then feeding to the return from the living room? If you don't have satellite are you adding anything to the RF?

You'll need something going to the return before you'll pick it up in the other rooms.

Without connecting anything to the DDU, i won't have a return signal back to the loftbox. I don't have a satellite receiver at present, what can i do to re-send the signal back to the loftbox?
Will a simple loop of co-ax do?
And if so, across which terminals?

Yes, the general idea is that if you do have a satellite box then you take the RF out of that to the return so that the other rooms can see the terrestrial channels plus the selected satellite channel.

In the absence of a satellite (or cable) box then connect SAT1 (whichever one has the RF on it) to the return, via a splitter if necessary.
