Just out of interest how does a Aventos 3981 or any other Loewe stand up against the P+ sets form Philips?

The Loewe sets will probably be working in ten years time, the Philips will not. Picture wise I understand a well sorted Philips P+ screen is great but they seem to have erratic QC and performance.

I got rid of a 9527 P+ and now have an Aventos. It is the best picture I have seen on a CRT TV, although the Philips did sound better for everyday watching.
