Loewe intend to produce an LCD integrated HDTV panel in time for the 2006 World Cup:

High resolution HDTV receiver integrated into the TV platform
    (MPEG-2 and MPEG-4).
    • A hybrid tuner concept for analogue and digital reception of
programmes broadcast terrestrially, or by satellite or cable.
    • Latest generation high resolution panel.
    • Two digital, high-resolution interfaces (HDMI) including the
futuristic digital copy protection HDCP for transmitting image
    and sound signals.
    • Two common interfaces for reception of Pay TV broadcasts.
    • Double tuner for convenient “picture in picture” display and
hard disk memory for Loewe Digital RecordingPlus (DR+).

Considering that Sharp are the biggest shareholder in Loewe, I am surprised they have not got one out already.

    Cheers,

    Martin.
