Am looking for some help - seeing strange behaviour.

    Loewe Individual 46
    Ps3
    Panasonic BDT500

The TV has two HDMI sockets.
Both are completely fine with the playstation.
Neither will handshake with the blu ray or my receiver.

I've tried "tricking" the ports by swapping cables over after the handshake with the playstation.
I've tried changing cables and reversing their direction (the latter somewhat reluctantly)
The composite from the blu ray outputs OK.

Does anyone have any ideas please? So frustrating...

Use the Composite signal to allow you to access the User menu for the BD Player and set its HDMI Out to 1080i or 720p and also ensure HDMI CEC Control (VIERA link) is set to Off – make the settings changes then power the TV and BD Off at the wall, install an HDMI cable between the BD and the TV and then re-power.

If that works try the same with the AVR using something other than HDMI Out on the AVR to allow you to set its HDMI Input/Output to Passthru (no up-conversion).

Thanks for taking the time to reply Joe. I've tried exactly as you've described but without luck...I'm losing the will to live. I know the blu ray is OK - it's brand new and worked when I initially connected it. Also - the playstation works in both HDMI ports - so I can be pretty sure the TV is OK.

Have you asked Loewe if they have any firmware updates available for your TV?

Look under the support section on the Loewe UK website. Register the TV and see if there is a later firmware than the version on your TV. Does the Individual have an update via the internet option? Could be worth a try.

That's the next thing to do... "SegaSaturn" ;-)

    The TV is as follows...
    DVB - 8.3.0
    Software - 1.5.0

Information is on it's way to Loewe right now...
