    Anybody has thoughts about this?
Is it the same panel as the xelos?

How about PQ? Anybody seen it?

Does it do 1:1 through VGA?

    Thnx!

    When looking to the specs...

I can see the Xelos has 2 things more:
"Black Level Expander" and " Digital Movie Mode Plus"
    And 2 speakers more.

That seems to be about it.
Price diff about 400£. Worth it?

The concept is a new panel and not directly comparable to the Xelos, since it wasn't designed from that.
I believe Loewe's electronics do permit 1:1 mapping of a VGA/DVI PC input.
BLE - sounds like the Sharp GD1 Titanium I had a while back to review.
DMMP - new one on me. Sounds possibly like some auto config of progressive input. On the Sharp, you could choose Film or Video - supposed to make a difference based on the medium the transmission was recorded on. Film stock or videotape.

    Hello all.

I have a Xelos A32 with DVBT, and I've tried to hook up my PC to the TV using VGA but the maximum I can get is 1280x768 (also 4/3 resolutions such as 1024x768, 800x600 and 640x480), but I can't get the native resolution (1366x768). When I try to set that resolution in the PC, then the screen goes black.

This TV doesn't have DVI but has an HDMI connector.
I've tried to connect my PC with a DVI to HDMI cable adapter, but with that I always get black screen no matter what resolution I choose (not even the startup PC logos when turning on the computer, which I see when using VGA).

So my best option is using VGA cable and 1280x768 resolution (which is scaled to the native 1366x768 and thus the image is slightly degraded). Anyway, DVDs played with "PowerDVD" software look great.

But I'd really like to get native 1:1 resolution. Anyone was successful with Xelos TVs in that?.

    Regards.

    OMA

What Hi-Fi : Sound & Vision gave it top marks in last months group test of 32 inchers, narrowly beating the Panny. Make of that what you will.

Look at The LCD Panel PC Connection Overview Thread

There is an entry posted by Satmaster in which he alleges Xelos A32 VGA to VGA
at 1360*768. You can always ask Satmaster exactly how he achieved this.
However, I think the secret will be in the 1360 as opposed to 1366 - 1360*768
is a standard VESA resolution, 1366*768 is not.
