Slim chance, but does anyone know how the component (YUV) pins are wired on the SCART sockets of Loewe CRTs?

I have read that they just use the RGB pins but wanted to double check.

If that's the case, then any RGB -> SCART cable would work from Component to SCART?

Qed do a cable custom made for Loewe tvs to allow componenet from a dvd player to the scart on the back of the tv.

here is the link to that particular cable if it helps.

I am fairly sure that this is the only type of cable that will do the job. (although there are probably other makes of the same type of cable)

I used this one to connect my dvd player (pioneer 757ai) to my old loewe Nemos tv.

I am thinking of connecting my Aconda via component. If I use the QED cable, which I see is a 6 RCA to scart, I assume 3 go to the component video out, two go to the audio out, what about the other?

The other connects to the yellow video out of the dvd player. It is what they call the sync, I think it is to allow for the tv to detect the 16:9 wide signal.(i am not 100%sure though.

It is for sync just like the previous responder said i.e. it supplies the necessary sync pulses.
